Reservations / bookings

Your booking is confirmed on receipt of 25% of total accommodation cost. Payment in full is required 14 days prior to arrival. Credit card details are held until departure inspection has been completed. Payment Methods: We accept Visa & MasterCard. Your credit card acts as our property bond.

Cancellations

You may cancel your booking with us if you are outside the 30 days prior to your check in date.  For bookings inside the 30 day period we will negotiate new stay dates with you (based on availability) prior to a refund of any kind. Refunds will be determined on a case by case basis.

Schoolies

We do not accept schoolies bookings. Not ever, nil, nada.

Check in / check out

Check-in is from 2pm onwards and check-out is 11am. Our property is accessed by a security system. We will inform you of your personal identification number to open the secure back car park entrance gate and your apartment. This 4 digit access code is unique to your stay and will expire on your departure. We require your estimated arrival time to activate your personal identification number.

Parking

There is secure off street parking for two cars (Apartments 1, 2, 3) and 1 car (Apartments 4, 5, 6 & 7) at the rear of the property. Parking is completely complimentary.

Maintenance & garbage removal

The guest is required to leave the property in the same clean, neat and tidy condition, as it was when they arrived. This includes washing up, cleaning out the fridge and rubbish placed in appropriate bins downstairs. Please recycle. It’s important to us.

Smoking & pets

There is strictly no smoking inside the apartment and no pets allowed. If you decide to light up in the apartment, the smoke cleaning fee is $250 and we will charge you for an additional room night while we scrub that smell right out of our apartment!

House manager

A house manager is to be nominated as the primary contact and will take full responsibility to ensure that all guests in the apartment understand and agree to the rules and conditions. A mobile phone number must be provided and be contactable when occupying the residence 24/7 for security purposes.
Apartment 2 has three bedrooms, accommodating 6 people. Apartments 1 and 3, 4 & 5 have two bedrooms, accommodating 4 people. Apartments 6 & 7 accommodate one couple…No provision for additional guests is available. Extra guests detected will be charged at $50 per head per night, deducted from your credit card.

Guest must be contactable at all times in case of any emergency at Aquabelle or the wider Mornington Peninsula.

Loss / injury

Aquabelle Apartments takes no responsibility for loss or damage of guest’s property, or personal injury. Guests should report breakages and are responsible for loss or damage of property belonging to them and for the damage or loss of property belonging to the apartment during their stay. If the apartment is not left in a reasonable condition an additional cleaning fee will be deducted from the credit card. This fee is based on $80 per hour. Items left at the property will need to be collected from Aquabelle or an address in Elwood.

Damage, breakage, loss of Aquabelle property

Guests shall be liable for all costs and expenses incurred as a result of malicious damage, breakages or loss. Without prejudice to any other remedies available, Owner shall be entitled to debit the credit card used to make the principal payment with quoted value of repairs/replacement.

Noise, parties, general behaviour

The apartment is for registered guests only. Parties are not permitted under any circumstances and there is to be no noise audible between 10pm to 8am and no excessive noise at any other time. A $100 deduction will be charged with each security or caretaker call out. If after one warning for noise or if your behaviour or that of your guests causes damage, danger or annoyance to any other person or to property we reserve the right to ask you to vacate the apartment immediately thus treated as a cancellation inside 30/60 days. There will be no refund of any unused portion of your booking payment.

Sustainability commitment

It is our aim to treat the environment gently, and leave the lightest footprint possible. Please help us by recycling responsibly, turning power off whenever appropriate and using the environmentally friendly cleaning products supplied.
